A free evidence-based workshop series, developed by Maine Health, that reduces the fear of falling, stops the falling cycle, and increase activity levels among older adults.
Eligibility & Referral Information
- Essex County Resident
- Adults 60 years and over
- Weekly Workshops for 8 weeks. Curriculum focuses on managing the fear of falling, fall prevention, getting up from a fall, exercises to improve balance and reduce the risk of falls

- Discussing falls with family and physicians
- Strengthening muscles and joints to reduce falls
