In-home, in the community or at provider locations
Reconnections Supportive Visitation Services provides a continuum of visitation services to safely connect families separated due to abuse or neglect. An initial assessment is done to create a visitation plan with the family and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency. This is followed by supportive and therapeutic supervised visits with families helping them be safe, stable and permanent. If reunited, aftercare services in the home are provided. The goal of Reconnections is to reduce child abuse and neglect, decrease the time children spend in foster care, and strengthen families throughout our communities.
