NJ4S-Essex serves all public and charter schools in Essex County. Tier One services are available to Pre-K through 12th grade students, parents and educators along with community providers. Tier Two prevention groups and Tier Three counseling services are available through application in Salesforce/NJ Connex for students in 6th through 12th grade. Schools can register up to 8 representatives to submit applications on behalf of students. The designation of high-needs school districts was determined by a School District Needs Index (SDNI) administered by the Office of Applied Research and Evaluation in consultation with the Department of Children and Families.
