Zero Suicide Framework

This year, Family Connections took a huge step towards preventing suicide by beginning to implement Zero Suicide Framework throughout all of our programs in the organization. The Zero Suicide Framework is a system-wide, organizational commitment to safe suicide care in health and behavioral health care systems. It represents a culture shift away from fragmented suicide care, toward a holistic and comprehensive commitment to patient care and wellness.

Every Door Is the Right Door.
Family Connections’ goal around adopting the Zero Suicide Framework is that no matter what “door” you go into within the agency, you will receive comprehensive suicide care and that the practices within the Framework will weave throughout all the services you participate in. We believe this approach will improve the care and safety of our clients and staff, thereby making our organization a safer, and, hopefully, more fulfilling place to work.
