ADAPT ANNOUNCEMENTS

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are continuing the hard work to support our Coalition Family and Essex County residents.

Don’t forget that Family Connections’ ADAPT Coalition continues efforts to reduce underage drinking, prescription medication abuse/misuse, and youth tobacco use.

ESSEX COUNTY LGBTQ+ SURVEY

Help ADAPT bring resources to the LGBTQ+ communities in Essex County. The survey is available and will be open through April 26, 2021. The survey is open to all Essex County LGBTQ+ residents over 18 years old.

STUDENT ATHLETE TOWN HALL

Join Family Connections’ ADAPT Coalition as we collaborate with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Essex County Division of Community Health Services, and East Orange Public Schools in our next Student Athlete Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 6:00 pm.

The event is a part of the Prosecutor’s Office’s Operation Helping Hand initiative to reduce opioid misuse/abuse in our local communities.

 

YOUTH TOBACCO ACTION GROUP (YTAG)

Do you know of teens that want to make a difference in the community, meet like-minded peers and earn community service hours as well? Then share this event with them!

Family Connections’ ADAPT Coalition is hosting our Incorruptible.Essex Spring Meet and Greet Virtual Event for youth ages 13 to 18 living or attending school in Essex County. We’re kicking off spring with a fun, virtual evening of games and prizes! Teens will meet our Incorruptible.Essex Youth Group and learn about activities they can do to live a substance-free lifestyle and become a youth advocate.
